Terms and conditions for individual bookings
Confirming the booking:
- A booking can be made at the latest 48 hours before start of service.
- The booking is to be paid in full at the time of booking.
- A booking paid in full is considered confirmed; FinnGuru will send a separate booking confirmation to the client.
Cancelling the booking:
The booking is to be cancelled in writing either by a letter or via e-mail. The cancellation is registered when it has been delivered to FinnGuru sales department.
- If the booking is cancelled latest 14 days prior to start of service, FinnGuru will charge 30% of the value of the booking as cancellation fee.
- If the booking is cancelled 13 days or less prior to start of service but before the service has started, FinnGuru will charge 50% of the value of the booking as cancellation fee.
- If the booking is cancelled at the time the service is to start or after it has started, there will be no refund.
- We recommend our clients take a travel insurance policy.
Terms and conditions for groups min. 10 persons
Confirming the booking:
- The booking is confirmed when the deposit payment (30% of the total sum) is paid on the due date agreed on by both parties.
- The name list and special dietary requirements are to be sent to FinnGuru latest 14 days prior to start of service.
- The booking is to be paid in full latest 30 days prior to start of service.
Cancelling the booking:
The booking is to be cancelled in writing either by a letter or via e-mail. The cancellation is registered when it has been delivered to FinnGuru sales department.
- If the booking is cancelled in its entirety latest 30 days prior to start of service, FinnGuru will withhold the paid deposit as cancellation fee.
- Partial cancellations are free of charge when there is min. 30 days to start of service.
- If the booking is cancelled in part or in its entirety later than 30 but more than 14 days prior to start of service, FinnGuru will charge 50% of the value of the booking as cancellation fee.
- If the booking is cancelled in part or in its entirety 14 days or less prior to start of service, there will be no refund.
- If the booking is cancelled at the time the service is to start or after it has started, there will be no refund.
- We recommend our clients take a travel insurance policy.
According to new package travel act 2018
- Travellers have the right to cancel a travel package agreement without special reasons and at any time before the start of the trip
- The organizer will be entitled to charge an appropriate and justified cancellation fee corresponding to the losses suffered by the organizer due to the cancellation.
- Travellers will be entitled to cancel their trip with no cancellation fee in certain situations, such as if unavoidable and exceptional circumstances prevailing at the destination or its immediate vicinity have a significant impact on the agreed implementation of the trip, or if the traveller has another justified reason to assume that the travel organizer’s performance will be significantly faulty.
- A traveller will also have the right to cancel the trip with no cancellation fee if the organizer makes significant changes to the agreement or increases the price of the travel package by more than 8 percent.

FinnGuru's right to cancel the booking:
In case of unavoidable circumstances (force majeure), FinnGuru has the right to cancel the booking at any time prior to start of service. The client will then be entitled to full refund. If the service cannot be provided due to disturbing behaviour or other compelling circumstance caused by the client, there will be no refund.
